Ale is the Founder and Director of La Poderosa Media Project, an organization that supports community-based arts programs. She is an Associate Professor of Latin American Literature and Creative Writing in San Francisco de Quito University.

Joel is completely bilingual and bicultural. With a BA in Fine Arts and MA in Education, he works in Marshall Middle School. He is the Visual Arts teacher for the Seed House and is interested in the Latinx community.

Travis ia a video reporter for KAKE News in Kansas and has a background in Anthropology and Spanish. He is vegan so he did not try all the delicious recipes.
DREW COLCHER

Drew has been a multi-instrumentalist and performing musician in many genres, playing all over the U.S. and in Chile, and independently releasing at least 10 albums with 5 different bands. Drew is a Spanish PhD student at UT Austin.

Jenny is a first-generation Mexican that lived with her family in Newton, Kansas her entire life. She is studying her Spanish MA at WSU and she is researching archives from local Catholic churches on Kansas Latinx communities.

Omar is a Phd student at Texas State University where he focuses on Mexican-American topics. His love from film and being completely bicultural from California made him a perfect fit for the project.
